Someone else already did that
... and probably better than you or I could do it.
I used to let that discourage me from doing something, but not any more. The reality is that if something is important to you, it's worth discussing. It's worth writing down in your own voice, if nothing else. I certainly don't want to plagiarize or imitate someone else, but chances are you have an audience which that other person would not necessarily reach. You have perspectives that the other person doesn't have. On the contrary, I hope that other people talk about the things that I talk about. That's kind of the point of sharing ideas. Ideas solidify into the "collective consciousness" so-to-speak only when enough people are thinking and talking about them.
Hallmark does not tell a screenwriter, "No, we already have a lighthearted romance where a lonely small town girl meets a busy, handsome city boy and they fall in love but it takes them the whole movie to realize it."
It's true for nearly everything. We don't have one Fortnite streamer. We don't have one person that does a philosophical, animated explainer video. We don't have one Bible apologist. Each one has their own take, their own focus, or specialty.
Just make something, already.
