Wheat paste:
1 part flour
5 parts water
Blend together.
Heat with stirring on the stove until it just starts to boil, then allow to to cool.
Refrigerate excess paste. Add a small amount of vinegar or clove oil to increase shelf life.
Biodegradable recipe:
.5 L Isopropyl Alcohol (91%)
125g Shellac flakes
15g Beeswax
2g Metal Stearate (aluminum, zinc, calcium, or magnesium stearate)
EVA recipe:
100g Hot Glue sticks
25g Paraffin wax
20 ml Mineral Oil
2g Metal Stearate
Shellac dissolves in alcohol, but beeswax does not, so it needs to be carefully heated on an electric plate outdoors. Continue stirring while cooling to form an emulsion.
